We spend much of our lives building our careers. We chase success, recognition, and expansive networks—yet despite all of it, many of us still experience a quiet, persistent loneliness.

Sometimes, the most insidious thing someone can tell you to make you feel better is the age-old phrase, “but you’re perfect!” While research suggests this may ease emotional pain temporarily, it might actually be holding you back from growth and, con... more
Want to miss (or forget) life’s sweetest moments? Easy: don’t savor anything. My late mother, an artist, knew this was a terrible strategy for happiness. Through her art, she was an expert at savoring—and the first to teach me its benefits.

I started following after I heard Arthur Brooks on Trevor Noah’s podcast, but after a few episodes, I’m just not into it. Way too much religion way too much schilling for his book and his paid questionnaires and not enough science. Kind of think he might be a little bit of a grifter.
The best in its category. He’s the best at what he does.
I recently took the survey for the happiness scale. I could not find a place to leave a review for this so I’m doing it here. This was a waste of my $15 and a half hour of my life. I was excited to take this based off of some of Arthur’s other work, but was extremely disappointed with the survey. I won’t bore you with all the details. I just wanted to make others aware. I have a fairly decent background in this area and was disappointed with the report.
Life changing experience. Comforting to know there are other Happiness Ambassadors out there trying to make a difference. Cannot wait to learn more so I can continue to leverage the science!
