I don’t feel that the host provides appropriate commentary that is sensitive or trauma-informed and the length can take away from the story itself despite the importance. I appreciate the courage it takes for these guests to share their stories and empathize with their varying experiences.
Echoing a lot of what is said in other reviews- the guests / their stories are great. The host adds very little substance and is simply opinion based. There is no research done beforehand on these sensitive topics / she comes across very insensitive, ignorant & uses inappropriate language. A little more preparation would make the conversations much stronger. And be... more
I wish some of the episodes were edited to not have the shows be so long and with details that aren’t essential to the story.
