Perhaps this is an unpopular opinion but I find that Oversharing really needs more diversity on listener stories. Don't get me wrong, I get that marriage/wedding content is rampant esp at the age of listeners but as a single female I wish they would have a broader variety. Friends, work, family relations... maybe its just me but I find its a lot of wedding and marriage talk lol.
I love Jordana on U Up, and her sensibility continues to be a good balance on oversharing. Both her and Dr. Naomi have great chemistry, and a good balance between the realities of today that Jordana brings, and calm and collectedness of Dr. Naomi. more
I normally love this podcast and am excited to listen every week. I found the discussion of recycling and carbon emissions in this week’s episode - which essentially dismissed taking any individual actions to support the environment without first conducting any underlying research - to be irresponsible and out of character of the show. I’m a big fan of the podcast, but I must say that I was pretty shocked by N&J’s response to the first voicemail question in most recent episode about “how to get your partner to become more responsible”. I think she completely minimized the burden of labour being shouldered by the caller.
