  • Respectfully, change

Been listening to this pod since 2013, the tfm podcast days. I didn’t mind when it began skewing to a more female demographic because the content was still hilarious and the format worked. It’s just kind of unbearable now. Go back to weekly guest driven participation and listener emails. Bring back a classic shelb or Mansamp type producer. Miss old train, this current iteration is a step back. Said with love because I really do want to enjoy what Jared is doing.

  • More rifs, less burping, slurping, gulping, and re-reads PLEASE

I’m a fan of the pod overall but it’s obvious that Jared is not investing into these shows the way he used and the way that he does in Uup. I have recommended to friends and they always complain about the lack of editing. I’d love to hear more fun talk and less slurping, burping, gulping, and re-reading. Please drink your coffee and scan your emails/stories BEFORE the pod. Your whole “I want to read it with you” is just you being lazy. Cmon. It’s like the crowd work of podcasting. I don’t want t... more

  • Audio issues

There are audio issues with the final product maybe during editing audio… I thought I was crazy and closed all windows on my phone, thinking that may have interfered with the main audio tracks, however random kinda foreboding weird sounds seem mixed into the audio….

Maybe it’s sound feedback, or another program on while audio editing or something else. Listen to the latest episode especially during the end of it, you will see what I mean.

I enjoy listening to this show! Just the random inter... more

I Got Hit By a Bus! ft Ryan Hamilton - CHIT CHAT WEDNESDAY
Q: What was harder about doing material that is so personal, like the bus incident, and performing it in different settings?
The hard part was resetting the room with a weird tone and keeping the audience engaged with a very long, dark story, then learning to structure it so it lands on stage and on camera.
I Got Hit By a Bus! ft Ryan Hamilton - CHIT CHAT WEDNESDAY
Q: How does it feel as someone who famously avoided this world that we are in right now, the social media podcast world?
It's not that I disrespect it; I just don't feel I shine in this world, and I get anxious easily, so I avoid it until there's something to promote, then I jump in.
Why Do My Hinge Matches Never Ask Questions? - MONDAY MAILBAG
Q: How and when would you bring up something emotional like a family member's passing while dating—early text, prompts, or on a date?
He advises sharing on your own terms, being honest about your luggage, and judging the other person's readiness; if it feels right, bring it up, but it's okay to wait for a more comfortable moment, and not every first date needs that disclosure.
Why Do My Hinge Matches Never Ask Questions? - MONDAY MAILBAG
Q: How do you handle hinge conversations where the other person responds consistently but never asks any questions back to you?
The host suggests reading the situation as a signal of a mismatch and either keep things light with more prompts or move on to someone who engages more deeply; he also recommends not over-pressuring for questions and framing responses to keep the vibe positive and open-ended.
Why I Posted My Crying Clip ft Eric Neumann- CHIT CHAT WEDNESDAY
Q: How do you approach talking to someone like Ray Romano or Judd Apatow about your work?
You approach them respectfully, with a clear ask for honest feedback rather than trying to secure production; show you value their work and don't push ulterior motives. If they see genuine interest in improving the piece, they're more likely to engage and offer meaningful notes.
