Maria clearly puts in a ton of time researching and preparing for these episodes. She usually knows the background of the guest well and if they’re an author, she’s read their work.
I really like the cohosting format that brings in the cohosts’ perspective without it being overwhelming.
Maria is also just a thoughtful and smart woman, host, and interviewer. It’s lovely to hear and I appreciate it.
What’s the point of inviting guests and experts if they can’t finish one thought or point without being interrupted and the conversation sidetracked. We turned the most recent episode into a game. Can Maria let her guest finish one thought? The answer is NO.
Maria!! I paused today’s solo-episode to rate & review the pod because:
1–I love the variety of guests and opinions that rotate throughout the show, it’s well-rounded and not a typical “do what we say” type dating podcast
2–But yes, please incorporate more solo episodes! It feels like a sit down chat with a wise girlfriend and I love it when they’re peppered in!!
Love listening to this podcast when I need some new inspo and insight for navigating the dating world.
I’ve been a fan for a while even though we disagree politically and politics are constantly brought up. Today I received a nasty email from Maria completely bashing conservative men in a lengthy note and viscous tone. The email was not only disturbing, but out of line and beyond strange. Maria and her team should be ashamed of themselves. You have fans from all walks of life & were called the silently majority for a reason. There’s more of us than you realize. It’s an automatic unfollow for me.
