Some of your speakers are culty and just cannot speak without the AA cliches and hammer home how sick the alcoholic always be. That’s not the message. We can never drink- and like everyone on the planet we have character defects . This notion that everything is about a spiritual malady? Ok maybe but not forever. I really don’t appreciate Bible scriptures quoted and Christsin-identified speakers. If this is a persons first contact, they may not come to recovery. The recovery programs have no religious or political or outside affiliations. This is No different than quoting a political party or campaign. These stories are not screened for this. In addition, a few too many know it alls. I’m 44 years sober , and a priest.
