I just discovered this podcast, and I’m really enjoying their take on Christie’s books and the adaptations.
I found this podcast to have just the right amount of setting, background, biography, discussion and opinions. Bravo!
I’m in a constant state of rereading the Queens of Crime chronologically. Though I was in Agatha’s best books (shout out to five little pigs) when I discovered this, it’s still great fun to listen to people reading from the start. The hosts have a nice balance of perspective. I love the inclusion of historical and biographical context, which really adds to the discussion of the books. I hope they are successful enough to do all the books!
I decided to do a reread of the Christie canon, and this is a wonderful companion for it, comprising (as it does) the combined thoughts of a long-time Christie fan and someone new to (most of) her works. Well worth a listen!
