A reasonable amount of research done here for the pod and I generally like what they do but some of the comments Teresa makes (about Irish names like Saoirse, for example) are racist. Bill sometimes seems embarrassed by these outbursts … they also need to do some googling about how to pronounce simple French terms. It’s not that difficult!! Some of the language more generally seems outdated and non pc…

The female host is like twice as loud as the male, so you’ll be listening at one volume to hear the guy and then she’ll laugh and it’ll be super loud.
Teresa and Bill look at a variety of film treatments of Agatha Christie’s novels, stories, and plays from the acclaimed Poirot, Miss Marple, and Marple series to adaptations from non-English-speaking countries such as Japan, and to the big screen. I respect the knowledge the hosts have, however, they lost me the moment they had to discuss the thickness of the leather corset Kenneth Branagh wore in Murder On The Orient Express. It is a waste of time, has very little to do with actual plot line of story. The female host calling Kenneth “Kevin” then referring to him as Sir Kenny is gross.
