All About Agatha is a podcast all about, well, Agatha. Agatha Christie, of course: the Queen of Crime, a real-life Dame of the British Empire, and author of sixty-six mystery novels that spanned the Twentieth Century, defining a genre. For five years, Catherine Brobeck and Kemper Donovan revisited these novels in publication order, ranking them according to pre-set criteria (plot, character, etc.)... more

What fun it was to put together this roving episode of All About Agatha! Thanks again to Christopher Diehl for inviting me to A Poirot Double Bill. I'm already looking forward to his next Christie theatrical production.
Come see me this week, May 4... more
We've done so many Christies for Christmas, it's about time we did one for Easter. Alas, mutations from the radioactive byproduct of a 1960s-era nuclear power plant did not move me or my guest co-host the way Christie seems to have intended. But perh... more
It isn't every day I get to interview a map designer on All About Agatha. Nor is it every day I get to work on a map with a map designer, which is something I've been doing on the side in tribute to my late co-host, Catherine Brobeck, whom Ben and I ... more

Great podcast with varied topics all to do about the Queen of Crime.
Great content honest reviews and interesting when the two hosts disagree; however be warned the audio is ROUGH at the start… I’m in 2017 episodes now and it’s better but still not the audio quality of a pro podcast and you need to listen to all episodes to hear all the rankings and stories. Enjoyable content, power through !
I enjoyed this so much! We all need a break from the current awful goings-on in the world, and some pretend murder can be just the thing. Thank you.
Thank you for all you do. Under all the pressure of our life-disruptions in 2020, Your podcast is fresh air and yummy food. ❤️👍 Anthony Horowitz is so full of (much needed) Positive energy. Absolutely a favorite. His voice is so relaxed and easy to enjoy
I appreciate the breadth and depth of your conversation on an author I have loved since 6th grade (12 years old). It’s easy to get settled and feel “been there done that,” with mysteries but I still love re-reading them endlessly. So your insightful conversations stir up new and fresh ideas and perspectives. Thank you!
