Some fantastic episodes,
I listen to a few again and again. Worth a try!
I really enjoy Sherlock Holmes stories, so I was excited when I found this show. However, I was put off by the strange narrator's voice, which seemed to be trying too hard to be soothing, possibly aiming for a bedtime story effect. I couldn't listen to more than 10 seconds of an episode because of it.
The narrator’s nasally voice and all the gasping breaths he takes are off putting. It sounds like someone with a bad cold is reading me a story.
The sound is mushy, whispery and breathy so I can’t hear the story very well. Straining to listen to a story is not very relaxing.
