  • Tonya

I am so grateful for the addition of Tonya Mosley to the fresh air team. Her perspective as a journalist and as a black American woman is so valuable in her interviewing and the kind of question she asks.

    Keep up the amazing work!

  • Powers and Mosley no thank you

Powers over annunciates so badly he sounds like a Simpson character. Mosley has a monotone voice that has no life. Sorry FA I know you are planning for the future but these two aren’t it!

Such a profound, intelligent interview. Hard to argue when Meacham can quote past presidents/founders/leaders. I fear for our future.

I was floored by the lack of sensitivity this journalist extended to the guest, Loubna Mrie

Her questions to Loubna were centered on U.S. events and scandals

raher than having Loubna’s memoir speak to her experiences on its own terms

very disappointing this is the level of journalism the fresh air production considers worthy

I urge you to do better and to create a safer environments for guest

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Inside the explosive growth of sports betting
Q: How did you feel when the NBA indictments and related scandals emerged?
The scandals amplified a sense that the entire ecosystem around gambling is entangled with its own conflicts of interest, fueling paranoid thoughts about game integrity and insider behavior.
Harrison Ford
Q: How did your real-life aviation experiences influence the way you describe and react to the in-show flight scenes?
He talks about wanting the audience to feel the blow and the anxiety by staying with the character through the activity, rather than masking it as a stunt, and emphasizes choosing actions that serve the character and narrative.
Harrison Ford
Q: What was it like transitioning from high-action roles to a more nuanced medical-therapist character on Shrinking?
Ford discusses how the character's mind drives the portrayal and how his own experience with aging and physical limits can inform the performance, using the disease symptoms to shape the role while prioritizing character truth over stunts.
Harrison Ford
Q: Did you grow up watching Gunsmoke?
Ford explains that he did not grow up watching Gunsmoke because his family had the first TV in the neighborhood and they watched other programs; he recalls that Gunsmoke wasn't necessarily on at the time.
Jamilah Lemieux on the complicated beauty of being a ‘Black. Single. Mother.’
Q: The title Black Single Mother is provocative and carries a lot of weight; what did you hope readers would take from that?
I wanted to invite a reimagining of Black single mothers, to challenge biases, and to recognize us as a significant, persistent force in the Black community while acknowledging the diversity of experiences within that group.
