I read a few of Elin’s books and enjoyed them. I be listened to several episodes of this show. I feel Elin speaks from a place of boasting about where she lives and all the upscale shops she buys her clothes. I am quite sure the shops do not carry clothes for the average visitor. Yes, Nantucket is a beautiful place but enough of yourself.
I have loved this podcast since day 1. Learning more about the writing process, getting published and what they’re reading. Listened to episode with Shelby and was taken aback at how Elin spoke of her Alma mater. I’m from the area she went to school and heard her speak at Ursinus College on a book tour. She raved about her time here and teachers so it just felt like an unnecessary slight to the people in this community.
I listen to a lot of bookish podcasts but I love this one because famous authours discuss the writing process. Grisham episode was the best. Keep going Elin and Tim.
Amazing interview! Can you bring him on every year? It doesn’t have to be about a new book of his. He can speak about an older title or the book to movie process (The Pelican Brief!).
This podcast is wonderful whether or not you're a Hilderbabe! Elin and Tim are so funny and interesting, and all their guest authors are fascinating. All readers will enjoy hearing all the "origin" stories, and getting so many great book recs, you won't be able to keep up!
