This pod was recommended based on my listening habits. I like the rapport between the hosts.
Mary Karr was name dropped. She’s a queen on par with Ann patchett. No one else comes close. Might I recommend Sarah’s bookshelves to you?
Personally I’m a little perplexed that the Correspondent seems to appear on every list.
Our lives are complicated and hard enough, and there is always so much chaotic energy around us. I am grateful for a comforting podcast that never fails to wrap its arms around me like a warm hug.
Annie and her crew are delightful, giving the best book recommendations and hosting the most wonderful conversations. I’ve been a listener for years and plan to be for many years to come.

Hi Annie, I love love love your podcast. It’s my favorite. But as a previous reviewer stated the multiple ads are proving very frustrating for me. I understand why you need ads, but I’m wondering if you could replay the weekly podcast on your patreon page without ads. (I’m sorry, but I just fast-forward through them anyway). I’m not currently a Patreon, but I would join just to hear you without ads. Keep up the great work with your fabulous team. Mary
This is always the show I look forward to the most each week but I have noticed in the last couple months the amount of ads has skyrocketed and the placement of them is very frustrating because sometimes they fall right in the middle of the conversation. I doubt there is anything I could say that would encourage the reduction of ads but could we move them to the beginning or the end so it doesn’t ruin the listening experience? If that’s possible that would be lovely. Thanks much. Read on!
Love your book and this podcast!!! I hope you will write more books!!
