  • Fun and Engaging Hosts and Recommendations

Too bad there was clearly a lame campaign to dis this pod for including LGBTQ recommendations. I love that the book choices reflect a lot of different perspectives. There is definitely no agenda here, just fun reviews for books that can appeal to a wide audience. ANYHOW. It’s a great conversational podcast that makes me laugh every week, and not a show goes by that I don’t add at least one book to my TBR. This completist gives Tina and Hannah (and Renee) two enthusiastic thumbs up.

  • Why so much Amazon

Love the energy and chat about books. Do not have an appreciation of how often Amazon is mentioned for purchasing something. Small businesses need your money . Amazon has no idea who you are.!

  • Absolutely wonderful bookish podcast

I really can’t say enough good things about this podcast. So enjoyable; so helpful. It is my favorite podcast and practically the only one I listen to.

The recommendations are thoughtful and interesting and I even needed to create a StoryGraph tag to keep track of all of the great recs!

Thank you to Tina, Hannah, and Renee for such a brilliant podcast!!

  • I tried.

I have listened to this podcast for months and while I do like hearing the book reviews, the relationship between the two hosts is what’s having me push unsubscribe. It’s uncomfortable listening to one host constantly making sure the other knows that she disagrees with her, dislikes what she likes, etc. I’m unsubscribing and will just follow Hannah on Instagram. ✌🏻

  • Had to move on

I miss Renee. I tried to stick it out during the transition but the chemistry between Tina and Hannah doesn’t work for me. I’m sorry to say I just unsubscribed on Patreon and stopped automatic downloads.
