I’ve battled with bulimia for about 8 years now. Was diagnosed and first sought help about a year ago from today. When I go on my long city Walks I listen to this podcast to help me not feel so alone. Being a male with this disorder definitely can amplify those feelings of isolation, and as you’re much aware shame being the most prominent. Kate, And to all of those who've shared their story’s…. I am just under halfway through the first episode of season 1 and I am horrified by the misinformation/stereotypes the male interviewer is spouting out about bulimia. Not only that but he is forcing Kate (I believe that’s her name) to give percentages on recovery outcomes, reasons why bulimia develops, etc and that is not possible. Every human is different and every bulimic experience is unique.
