  • Spiritual without religion

I have really enjoyed the daily proverbs. It is of great interest to me the different perceptions and understandings people have. Kelly doesn’t use the same translation as I do, but that just adds to the nuance. It wasn’t written in English so there is room for a variety of wording. And as English has changed over the years things have different flavor. Thank you Kelly for sharing this

  • Who is this crazy guy with all these dreadlocks??!!!

An inspiration, ………………………………………………………………………………………Within this world we are fortunate enough to find inspiration, utilize it to motivate ourselves, and navigate the spaces in which we exist at a greater capacity. To be a person of such great character to share this wisdom, challenge your friends and audience to be influenced by it, and elevate those around you, makes you an icon. It is the force of that empowerment that drives Kelly to seek the messages, and counsel of those he himself is inspired... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#784 Mike Smalls
Q: Why did you decide to remain bootstrapped with BLOOM Vision, and what changed your stance on funding, if at all?
Bootstrapping allows us to maintain control and focus on sustainable growth while delivering real value to customers. We'd consider funding only if it didn't dilute control or force unsustainable debt, and if it would meaningfully accelerate growth without sacrificing the company's core values.
#784 Mike Smalls
Q: What was the biggest learning from fundraising that you'd pass on to a founder just starting out?
Investors look for signals of traction and a clear pattern of demand; don't rely on hope. Be prepared with a strong narrative, a realistic funding plan, and tangible milestones that show progress toward a scalable, profitable business.
#767 ANDREW CHESNUTT
Q: What advice do you have for my kids?
Don't allow fear to get into your mind. Go do the thing and fail fast while they're young.
#767 ANDREW CHESNUTT
Q: What signs indicate a person shouldn't be an entrepreneur?
You aren't willing to look at yourself and all of your demons honestly, and you desire stability rather than the entrepreneurial path.
#765 TIGRAN "TONY" KYUREGYAN
Q: What would you say to the kid who brought the knife to the fist fight?
Don't judge the book without reading it. Everyone has their own struggles, just focus on being a good person.
