I’ve visited Mull and Iona a number of times over the years, and this was what first drew me to the podcast. I keep coming back, because it’s an oasis of peace and sanity in an increasingly mad world. The ordinary life stories of ordinary people are somehow made extraordinary in the telling.
I highly recommend everyone with a love of and interest in the history of Mull and neighbouring islands to listen to this podcast. Everyone has a story to tell and this is a wonderful way of recording those stories. Thank you Alasdair for all the work you put in to these valuable recordings.
A wonderful tapestry of island life that weaves the stories of strangers together and highlights how we are connected in island community life
Me being from mull, but not living there now and work aboard a lot it’s tremendous hearing Alasdair and the true locals and natives of the island and all there story’s👌 first class
I thoroughly enjoy hearing from local people about their lives on Mull, Iona and Ulva. These are strange times with COVID-19 and all with travel suspended, hearing these stories adds hours of great entertainment. Thank you.
