  • Is a river alive?

Mark, please read Macfarlane’s brilliant book so you can understand why the answer to that question is “yes!” Your commentary revealed you’d not read it. The first few pages will convince you.

My parents immigrated to Australia in 1958 , I was born ten years later and I grew up naturally with a love of the accent. My parents have passed and I have really missed the sound of their voices , an Aberdonian accent is music to my ears. Your show just happens to be fantastic but the accents ( broad or not) lifts my mood to happy each time. Thank you 🥰
