The episode of Sat 20 July should be called out for Mark Steven’s inference that what you need in the farm vet profession “is some guy who is built like a bull who is perhaps not as academically gifted” and “he’s built like a tank, there is a requirement in large animal practice for having people who are not little and willowy”, inferring female. This language should be be called out for what it is- sexist and incorrect. There is no place for this in 2024.
It’s hard to explain the magic involved in the podcast…dense, rich, and often hilarious. If either of the two words in the title hold any appeal for you, just listen.
Actually like this show, do not like the bbc policy of advertising other podcast, we know they exist, it’s just annoying.
