  • My favourite podcast

The only podcast I can bear when everything seems unbearable. Thank you Fergus and team for the true magic you bring each week. I don’t know what I’d do without you!

  • A country ramble with a knowledgable friend

The Plodcast is pure pleasure: you feel like you're out hiking with Fergus and the team, as they conjure up the landscape, and share their deep knowledge of birdsong and other rural topics. Add what's more, we're sometimes invited to join them in the pub (well, studio) afterwards - to join them for countryside stories, soundclips and silliness.

  • My daily commute

I listen to the podcast on my way to work, which is a journey consisting of country roads and lanes and it always really sets me up for the day.

It’s a journey that I never get tired of, as I’m surrounded by nature and having Fergus and the team along for the ride just makes it all the more, enjoyable.

Keep up the good work, as I absolutely love what you all do.

Very best wishes to you all.

Love the varied content, voices, and the music by Blair Dunlop! Blissful, apart from (as others have mentioned) the jarring adverts.

  • Knights Templar

This is a really fascinating episode, more so for me as I have visited the area and castles. The wildlife and environment observations bring the walk to life, and there was so much history that I wasn’t aware of. Thank you.
