  • Ok (ish)

I find this podcast pretty underwhelming. James often mixes up his words or forgets what he’s trying to say, and his vocabulary seems really limited — it becomes especially noticeable when he’s speaking with more educated or professional guests.

He tends to repeat the same talking points in nearly every episode, which makes the conversations feel predictable. Barbara O’Hare gets mentioned almost every time, and the “are we in a simulation?” chat always seems to come up. He always diverts back t... more

What a wasted opportunity! I had to switch off. You just (as with many guests) let him ramble.

When you have someone on as interesting as that, you need structure to get the most out of them.

There were no specifics. No details. What? How? When? I wanted to know details. But it was just rambling on.

You didn’t ask about disclosure. Your interview skills lack discipline and focus. It could have been so good.
