  • Stimming together!

My favourite ADHD adjacent podcast by far, I always feel better when faced by the Brick of waffle because I don’t have to face it alone! Thanks for reluctantly allowing us weirdos into your flock. If you have, or suspect you may have, ADHD, these cuckoos are for you! A delight, with such miraculous turns of phrase as vomit trauma! Truly not to be missed by those with neurodivergence and a tolerance for a little yelly action occasionally! Frequently incontrollable laughter and relatability.

  • So Relatable!

I’m glad I found this podcast. It’s funny, informative, non-judgmental, and the self-deprecating humor is so relatable for me!

Loving “Weirds of a Feather” and how informal it is compared to other podcasts about ADHD. Nothing like this has been done before, and I didn’t know I needed it in my life until I heard it. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep. 111: Becoming Pizza Dad with Dr. Ted McGillicuddy, Pt. 2
Q: Do you think he gets the ADHD gene from you or your wife?
I have to say me. I probably would check the box on some of the characteristics.
Ep. 111: Becoming Pizza Dad with Dr. Ted McGillicuddy, Pt. 2
Q: Have you looked into any other sort of therapies?
Exercise like trampoline, bouncing around, and getting physical energy out has been essential for my son.
Ep. 111: Becoming Pizza Dad with Dr. Ted McGillicuddy, Pt. 2
Q: Could you talk us, so your son's teacher recommended an ADHD evaluation?
Yes, a guidance counselor collated information from the teachers and approached us about concerns regarding his focus and organization.
Ep. 110: The Allure of Arsenic with Vascular Surgeon Dr. Ted McGillicuddy, Pt. 1
Q: What should we do to take care of our vascular health?
I think the answer, again, I think medicine is full of these clichéd things, but I think some of these clichés are out there for a reason. Movement is medicine. 30 minutes of exercise per day.
Ep. 110: The Allure of Arsenic with Vascular Surgeon Dr. Ted McGillicuddy, Pt. 1
Q: So, how do you go about counseling your patients on smoking cessation?
I think it's really important. I have a conversation with patients about how smoking contributes to their vascular issues. It's crucial for them to understand their role in their health outcomes.
