When filmmaker KEVIN SMITH nearly died from a massive heart attack, his only begotten daughter HARLEY QUINN convinced him to try a plant-based diet for 2 months. 2 years later and still not dead, the Dad asked his Daughter to join forces so the two can provide plant-based answers to the Vegan-curious questions they get from a meat-eating and dairy-drinking audience.

The fact that I’m only here in January of 2024 is crazy. I blame the podcast network practice of only promoting fellow network shows, because I would have been here years ago if anyone on NPR, Maximum Fun, or Earwolf, or the ex-Scientologist shows mentioned you.
I usually can’t handle the long meandering off topic introductory parts of a show, but I didn’t mind it here. Maybe because knowing Kevin, I like his meandering.
One irony, I went from omnivore to vegan in the 15 minutes or so that i... more
I'm a non-vegan listener, but im a huge fan of kevin smith and his work so listening to his daughter and him talk about something they're are passionate about (more Harley in terms of passionate) is pretty interesting and they are both funny which makes listening not a boring ad about being a vegan
These two are hilarious, their relationship is adorable, and it’s informative! LOVING both bingeing this one!
Please release more episodes! I am so curious who the guest you mentioned in the last episode will be :)
I miss you guys!!!
This is a rare gem that stands out amongst a heavily saturated podcast world. I am so stoked for this series and can’t wait for more episodes. I relate to Kevin and his journey and as a new-is vegan believe me, I have listened or tried EVERY vegan pod and most are somewhat alienating for a rebel like me… Yet here lies Kevin and his beautiful and smart and witty spawn and they are great and I can’t wait for more eps. Thanks, y’all.
Favorite role model. Kevin Smith. Awesome daughter Funny and podcast. Dad and daughter I love.
This podcast is amazing, started working nights and searched under Kevin Smith under podcasts and found this one! Been vegan for about a year now and love hearing all these things, love the dad/daughter dynamics and just LOVE! Kevin’s pop culture references that always go over Harleys head, Kevin I feel like you’ve failed your daughter with her not knowing all these great shows/movies you are referencing, anyways really hope for season 2 sooner than later.
wish there were more episodes- i laughed, cried and learned stuff. looking forward to future episodes!!!
I love this podcast. I wish where were more pods talking about animal cruelty and explaining veganism in a such a fun way.
Love this podcast! First heard of it at the live shows at Smodcastle and decided to give it a try. Hope there will be more live shows of this in Jersey would really love the opportunity to go!
I haven’t heard any of the older ones but I was part of the Live Show on July 9th randomly interjecting making the father daughter duo smirk and laugh! I brought my two daughters (I call them Yoga Hosers) to the show as well… it’s the best time I’ve ever had learning about broccoli!!! Hoping for a call back like Brodie in Mallrats🤪🤣
P.S. to Kevin… can I send you my chronic con VIP pass from Reboot? My daughter wanted “Harvey” to sign it instead of you🤦🏻♂️… Superdads Unite!!!
I really like the balance you found between the fun back and forth between the two hosts in the beginning then the informative interviews for the rest. It is down to earth and relatable. A wonderful podcast. Looking forward to the NJ Live Show!!!
Love you two and def gave you 5 stars but let her talk dad!! It drives me nuts cuz I really want to hear what she has to say and not have to wait forever to hear it!!
...to such a polarizing subject. Fun, conversational, relatable. Never preachy or too in your face, but it does help make the connection to the benefits to making the switch. Not just about ethics. Not just about health. Not just about the environmental impact. About all of it, but it’s never too much. I so appreciate this take on things. Will be recommending this to many.
This podcast isn’t a super scripted conversation which allows for authentic funny moments of a father daughter duo. I enjoy how they explore veganism and podcasting, they combine their passions and use these elements with help from the world of technology, experience, and professionals to « abattoir » slaughter the misinformation surrounding veganism. I am early 90s baby, I grew up watching Kevin Smith’s work, then I have been an avid listener of the Rich Roll Podcast where I heard the 1st episo... more
