Why Roth Contributions Are Overrated for Financial Independence | E191 Cody Garrett
Q: So can you walk me through how that changes the way that we should be thinking about taxes in retirement?
Cody walks through Grace's case to show how retirement tax planning hinges on spending versus income, the timing of withdrawals, the favorable treatment of capital gains, and the idea that taxes in retirement can be lower overall if you optimize when and where you take money from, especially by leveraging taxable accounts first and planning Roth conversions strategically.

How to Create a 3-Day Workweek (Before You Reach FI) | E187 Andy Hill
Q: What suggestions do you have for someone still scared to take the leap toward reducing work hours?
I suggest starting small—maybe decrease contributions to savings by 5% and see how it feels to invest that time and money into experiences or an FU money bucket for future freedom.
