  • DUMP annoying Christa

See above. Nobody wants to hear from her - pretentious and snooty, rambles on about nothing. She speaks over clark and Wes and offers her opinions. Please shut up Christa. Please limit her, please

  • Truth Social: Wes Moss and Trump

When I read or watch the news and I hear about the outrageous & racist things that Donald Trump says on Truth Social, you can thank Wes Moss. Wes Moss helped Donald Trump found Truth Social.

I hope Wes is NOT Clark’s successor.

Some would say this is political, but I see it as rights & wrongs. So much human suffering has been unleashed by Trump and his acolytes. I can’t support you anymore Clark. Do you hold the same values as Trump/Moss Clark??

  • Negative spin

Download and listen to Wes on Tuesday and delete the rest from Clarke. Wes will provide a neutral data-based assessment while Clarke will put his political negative spin and even say that it is time to pull the family aside as the ‘end is near’ in regard to job or economic reports.

I found Clark years ago on the syndicated radio, and definitely benefited from his advice. Recently found him again on the podcast and listen almost every day. So grateful!

  • Honestly the best financial and consumer advice out there

I’ve been listening to Clark Howard in syndicate and podcast for decades now. It’s an investment of 30 and every time I listen and I always gain some value out of the topics discussed. Even when they’re not relevant to me. Furthermore, Clark just has a very kind demeanor and is a good human. I think him, and all of his fantastic staff, as Team Clark is an awesome one.

ps. Can Wes Moss just have a separate podcast? Good content, but I’m wanting to only hear Clark’s.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

05.19.26 Ask An Advisor With Wes Moss
Q: What is the difference between a fiduciary fee-only advisor and a commission-based advisor?
The fiduciary fee-only advisor works strictly in the client's best interest and does not earn commissions from selling financial products, which can reduce conflicts of interest. Commission-based advisors may have incentives tied to product sales, so the fiduciary model aims for more objective guidance.
05.15.26 Clark Answers His Critics on Clark Stinks / Key Homeowners Insurance Rule
Q: Where should I set my homeowners insurance deductible if I want to keep costs manageable?
Raise the deductible to the highest level you can comfortably manage, but make sure you also have enough total coverage to rebuild if a catastrophe occurs; otherwise you risk gaps that you can't cover.
05.13.26 The True Cost Of 401(k) Loans / A New Era in Auto Sales
Q: Lucas in Oklahoma asks whether to take out a 401(k) loan to pay down his mortgage, given a 6.75% loan rate and ongoing mortgage payments.
Clark advises against taking the 401(k) loan, pointing out the higher long-term cost due to lost compounding and tax-advantaged growth, and suggests sticking with his mortgage strategy while continuing to save, since the tax-advantaged growth in retirement accounts generally outpaces the mortgage interest savings over time.
05.12.26 Ask An Advisor With Wes Moss
Q: Patrick in New York asks whether a Roth 401k is better than a traditional 401k given future tax expectations, and how state taxes affect the decision.
The hosts discuss that Roth often makes sense for many in today's tax brackets, but consider future state taxes and potential changes in tax rates; splitting contributions or using a mix can be prudent, especially if retirement occurs in a lower-tax state.
05.12.26 Ask An Advisor With Wes Moss
Q: Emmanuel in Florida asks whether buying a boat can ever be financially smart or if it's strictly a lifestyle choice.
Wes and Clark explain that a boat is typically a lifestyle purchase with depreciation and ongoing costs; the advisors recommend considering price per use, buying used to absorb depreciation, and possibly renting first to test fit before committing.
