  • Wes, stop it!

It makes me cringe every time Wes Moss calls Social Security,“social”.

It drives me crazy. Please just call it by its full name.

  • Clark and Christa are outstanding!

Can't be replaced. I suspect you know who is buying the show. Yes he is smart, but he will be a problem for current subscribers. What about Roger Whitney?

  • Love Clark dislike Wes

5 stars for Clark AND Krista but Wes Moss not the same type of advice. He comes off very…well…not like Clark and not caring and empathetic like Clark. Very opposite brand so I had to say something.

  • Great advice!

I’ve been listening to Clark Howard for years! Great, honest advice. I admire the fact that he does not “sell out” and get paid for his advice and gives simple, straightforward advice and explanations about real life money issues. Thanks for the years of hard work and dedication you and your team offer!

08.04.26 Ask An Advisor With Wes Moss
Q: Wes, according to your research, how finely should you slice core pursuits and how important is diversity of pursuits?
Wes explains that there should be at least five unique core pursuits, with notable flexibility to expand to more; specificity matters (distinct activities like deep sea fishing vs. fly fishing are separate pursuits), and pursuits can evolve over time but should remain purposeful and varied.
07.22.26 Electronics: Repair Or Replace? / Buying Insurance
Q: Sam in Utah asks about accident forgiveness options on auto insurance and whether some discounts are automatic.
Clark notes that accident forgiveness can sometimes be automatic after a period of no claims, depending on state rules; if it appears as a zero-cost option, verify with the insurer since it may be an error or an eligible state rule, and warns that benefits may apply only while on the primary policy.
07.22.26 Electronics: Repair Or Replace? / Buying Insurance
Q: Steve in Georgia asks if calling his homeowner's insurer about a potential problem could raise his premium, and whether the neighbor should share the cost of a deteriorating wall.
Clark explains that asking about potential problems can sometimes be recorded as a no-cost claim or flagged in the system, so you should consider negotiating with the neighbor first and use policy provisions like subrogation to determine who pays for a repair, while keeping in mind that insurer actions can be state-specific.
07-20-2026 WFH Is Reshaping Employment / Health Insurance Costs
Q: Tammy in Nevada warns about phishing and fake meeting invitations targeting small businesses.
Clark thanks Tammy and emphasizes vigilance against phishing, noting that legitimate meetings should come from known sources and encouraging listeners to verify invitations before joining.
