Great pertinence, and perspective!
Just listened to the podcast with Liz Truss, genuinely hoping for the interviewers to get some reflective analysis from her of why the entire global market lacked faith in her disastrous budget of 2022 which cost her her job. She repeated her usual lines about institutions and experts having too much power in directing gilt yields. She even acknowledged that the uk’s two main parties aren’t listening to her.
