The audio companion to Bloomberg Opinion’s beloved Money Stuff column hosted by its author Matt Levine, “whose deadpan style mixes technical elucidation and wit” (NY Times). Once a week, Matt and his friend, Bloomberg News reporter and TV host Katie Greifeld, talk about Wall Street, finance and…other stuff. New episodes every Friday.

Love this show and the hosts, but I’ve never heard a podcast with the frequency and length of ad breaks as this one. Significantly impairs the listening experience.
Matt Levine writes a great column, but he is hard to listen to. I will stick to reading his work.
Matt and Katie are fun and witty. There is a special chemistry between the two of them that makes their conversations so compelling.
Matt and Katie are phenomenal together. I really enjoy their banter and chemistry. Thank you!
I enjoy the light banter and content but … and I don’t like having to say this … but I find it very difficult to hear/understand Matt. I have determined that his tone and volume fluctuates significantly to the point where when he talks softly and in a muted tone, I can’t hear what he says, so I miss a lot. I’ve tried turning up the volume but then the louder exchanges are too loud. Sorry Matt, I don’t want to make this personal. Maybe a better mic or mixing would help …?

A witty, finance-forward show pairing sharp analysis with accessible banter about Wall Street, markets, and money, often weaving in practical mechanics of deals, funds, and leverage with timely headlines. Episodes frequently feature deep dives into hedge funds, private credit, SPACs, and corporate governance, mixed with pop-culture references and skeptical takes on market narratives. Noteworthy traits include a strong authorial voice anchored in a data-driven column, frequent guest appearances from hedge fund and asset-management insiders, and a balance of technical insight with light-hearted banter that aids broader understanding of complex topics.
