Real talk about Financial Independence and life after corporate jobs. Doug Cunnington and Carl Jensen talk about FI, lifestyle, side hustles, health, and anything on their minds. Plus, they interview experts and non-experts interested in the FI lifestyle. It's raw, candid, pretty much like you get to sit in on a private conversation.

Really enjoying listening from the UK. I’m at the boring middle bit of accumulation but it’s helping me think about what the future could look like. I’ve noticed most of the people who join you were higher earners so would be good to hear some stories of those on lower incomes though. Especially enjoyed quiet quitting and outsourcing and have shared with chosen people
Thank you!
Amazing financial independence content for all, not just Denver :)
Writing this review because I’m shocked the average rating of this pod isn’t higher. Not sure why, as I love Doug’s style, topics, and guests. Content probably does skew more for people who are close to or at FI, but there are always nuggets for anyone interested in FIRE.
It is not everyone’s calling to do a podcast after retiring early. I had mile high hopes for this but it is just another self-admitted privileged white dude phoning it in. I fell for the topics and guests but the lack of thoughtful questions and blah “that’s interesting” responses and for an hour an episode?! WTF. This has to be the most uninspired FI podcast out there.
This episode was a little tough to listen to. The guest's voice was the issue.
