I’m not sure which horrifies me more, the unchecked murders of thousands of young girls and women in Cuidad Juarez or the depth of Mexican government official and police corruption. The podcast is thoroughly researched and reported. To my ear, the legal and feminist term ‘femicide’ is awkward at best in the English language version. Murder of these women shouldn’t remind the listener of herbicide or pesticide. But I get the intention. Otherwise excellent and important.
I’m looking forward to the documentary! Narrator was easy to listen to and the podcast was interesting throughout.
1st time hearing of this devastation. This podcast was excellent, an attention grabber. Would also love to add the Voice Actor/ translators did an amazing job showing the emotions of those they translated for. Highly recommend
Grateful people are wanting to tell this story. Ive never heard of it.
Yes what happened was tragic but the feminist undertones and lack of understanding of what daily life is like in juarez is just unbearable. Typical victim spin that blames everyone else for their troubles. The narrator is unbearable
