Amazed at how journalists are righting the wrongs caused by the inept justice system. You are changing so many lives.
I love the way these journalists go into the story without judgements or a patronizing attitude. They have genuine interest - no, compassion and empathy for the subjects of their investigations.
Be prepared to possibly shed some tears if you have a heart. I shed tears of all types including tears of joy when something happens that is positive. This is a listen that is an excellent use of your precious time.
I wanted to like this but I couldn’t get past the host’s blatant ego and voice that sounded nails on a chalkboard. No thanks.
This story is hard - sad, emotional, heartbreaking. But the way Gilbert and his team deliver this story is incredible. This podcast is deep; I’ve cried, laughed, gasped and smiled throughout. Overall it’s a beautifully produced show by people who are truly making a difference.
Any work by Maggie Freleng is well done and professional. After listening to at least half a dozen of her projects, I subscribe to anything she produces! ( & this is not her mom, cousin, lover, or friend lol).
