I am really grateful for this podcast! As a young first gen girl trying to take on the mcat and med school applications it can be easy to get overwhelmed. Really enjoyed hearing that we all struggle but ultimately are able to overcome it. I just listened to the episode with Claire- I had no idea they were cousins. I️ totally recommend this podcast! Kelly feels different from other med school “influencers”. She feels like a real person like me or my peers. She doesn’t sugar coat things and she does idealize med school or the application process. She also lets you know that having a life outside of school is possibly and necessary. 5 stars :)

I 100% recommend not only this podcast but her social media pages to anyone looking for someone to look up to! This podcast was such an eye opener for me! Okay this was so much better than I expected. She was very honest and dived into some circumastances that we all go through as a person. It was very helpful to see a new side of medicine. It’s not all rainbows in the road to medicine and knowing some inside details of what it’s like to be a medical student along with the challenges they face gave me a good idea about whether medicine is for me or not!
