That you aren't smart enough to understand shmancy science stuff. That eating and living well is too hard for most...so why try? That exercising your rights to informed consent and refusal is irresponsible. That having a birth... more

  • Finally- a place for intelligent conversations about birth!

Obstetric care in the US has long been a practice full of malpractice, misinformation, lack of research, and ineffective old-school policies and procedures. As a nurse, birth worker, and a mother, I love learning from and being inspired by Dr. Nathan Riley! This podcast and his teachings are evidence-based, real science, liturgical and nuanced. There’s yet to be an episode I haven’t enjoyed. All are so thought-provoking. I loved his recent episode with his mom. It’s beautiful to see a family of ... more

  • Latest episode a tough listen

While children are being murdered in the world we hear someone speaking of love and human interaction, no mention of the genocide the country he comes from is commiting. Very disappointed.
