  • Jefferson v. Mazzieo

Good job to plaintiffs counsel. Note, it is systemic cruelty in our system that is intentional that even in death this African American mother’s life was monetarily devalued. From the moment she was born each institution ensured that from cradle to grave she would be viewed as less than - that is the loss that damages will never measure.

  • Badly Needs Balance

These stories would be so much more informative and interesting if both sides were presented. The world is much more nuanced than the “all plaintiffs’ cases are meritorious and all defendants and their lawyers are cheating scum” attitude here.

It is the best source that I’m aware of that gives such great insights into trials, what goes on in the heads of the jury, advocacy strategies and tips, and the unethical deeds of corporate giants and other defendants.

I haven’t seen it but I understand the show received an adverse review. I can’t see any legitimate reviewer doing this. This raises questions in my mind about whether ... more
