Lauren needs to stop interrupting her husband it sounds like they are arguing. The value of this podcast has gone down. I can’t listen to it anymore. Her husband should divorce her. She’s super rude. She is very condescending towards him. She loves the image not the marriage.
Lauryn is so disrespectful to Michael. It’s hard to listen to. That’s not the way you treat your life partner. She spends a good time of the episodes complaining and tearing down her husband and telling him how he should be. It’s ugly and negative.
Michael is an interesting guy he definitely could carry his own podcast but he owns dear media he could have a podcast without ads every 5 minutes and they try so hard to make it seem natural but it’s so contrived which is dated now. Lauryn gets more unbearable each year with her advertising and repetitive topics constantly she has no depth it’s a miracle people buy her China products like just go to Ulta for an ice roller
Their content and opinions simply aren’t relatable anymore. I used to love their practicality, now their advice and perspectives are so far from what’s achievable at this point in my life. It’s irritating when Lauryn says people make excuses but she can afford multiple Nannie’s in order to maintain her own personal care routines. It’s not inspiring or relatable and their “tangible takeaways” are out of reach for the majority of us.
I genuinely love this podcast. I listen to a majority of the episodes however there’s definitely a few that aren’t for me and that’s OK. There’s a lot of content I consume whether the podcast books, social media, etc. where I don’t 100% align with the person and that’s OK, I really appreciate how they bring people on and show different points of view. Just because somebody comes on and states their beliefs does not mean that is the beliefs of the host. However, they are giving us a view point th... more
