Love the short-form template because it allows me to take in only what I need to know. Plus, the reporters’ positive tone allows me to keep tuning in during rough news cycles.
Disappointing podcast. NPR trying to sound “cool” and light-hearted - and coming across as tone-deaf and disingenuous. Dangerous normalization of the upcoming administration with childish humor, passive voice and pretense of objectivity that ignores glaring facts.
Journalists offering their views about any subject is rarely educational or informative.
I wish these announcers would speak decent English. I get exhausted by all the “you knows, likes, I mean(s), etc.” I suggest the announcers read transcripts of the shows and count the number of these annoying interjections. This may be the way people speak in conversation, but it is not cool to hear it over and over on the radio or a podcast. I don’t need to hear BBC English or Walter Cronkite ‘sound a likes’, just well-spoken English.
Conjecture supposition and inane waffle apart from Dominico Montenaro.
Should change the name of the show to Gen-Z.
Even NPR reportage is becoming more and more Gen-Z with purile presentation and reportage.
Shows made by kids for kids.
Disappointing nonsense.
Where’s the beef?
