If I never have to hear the ad again, it will be too soon. NPR plays the ad back to back to really drive how annoying it is in. I subscribe and listen to many NPR shows, and I will not listen to this one purely out of spite that I hate the ad so much. How many times can you say “sources and methods” in a 30 second window?
I always went to NPR One and would skip until I got a story like the ones they focus on in here. Glad it’s all in one place. They also do a great job. Very well produced, fair, informational, and to the point.
This podcast is very enlightening. It gives information about what the elites are doing behind closed doors.
Mary Louise Kelly’s yet another masterpiece, Sources & Methods, is a valuable addition to the NPR podcast family, one that was much needed. The pod sheds light onto the news from a unique perspective that helps comprehending the news in a more informed way.
My first time listening to this podcast was marred by an NPR reporters incorrect assertion that President Trump faced no question on his infamous friend Mr. Epstein. A reporter from a British news outlet asked the President if he didn’t feel any any empathy for the now sacked former British Ambassador to Washington who lost his position over his connections to Epstein. The President fobbed the question back to the Prime Minister, but it was asked, contrary to the NPR reporters statement.
