In 1985, police dropped a bomb in a Philadelphia neighborhood. Their target? A family of Black radicals known as ‘MOVE,’ who found themselves ensnared in a city — and nation’s — domestic war on Black Liberation. Over seven episodes, host Matthew Amha investigates the events that culminated in the MOVE bombing, and the long afterlife of a forgotten American tragedy.

The most narrow perspective on a tragic incident I’ve heard. Whoever put this together should be fired. It covers nothing about why? Don’t waste your time!!!!
I remember hearing about this story when I was a teenager but didn’t pay much attention at the time but this well organized, excellent series was incredibly informative. Thanks to The Africas vs. America podcast team for laying everything out in detail and keeping history alive.
If you want to know the real story behind the Move cult, I’d recommend “Murder at Ryan’s Run”. If you like propaganda, then you’ll love this podcast.
As our world becomes more divided into smaller & louder tribes, stories like this one of the MOVE House & Africa family are lost in the noise. Yet, this is our recent past. It is our current day of struggle & injustice in America. The details are chilling and appalling . Woven into a riveting account, it is a story that could take place in our own city or neighborhood today. Must share.
Sounds like a woke tool
