  • Brilliant, thoughtful and fun

This is such a good show! Jess is an incredibly personable and well-informed host with a heap of empathy. The show is so good at letting people talk in their own voice about their experiences. Each episode manages to feel like a casual, fun chat between mates while also being incredibly educational about the often invisible world and experiences of people living with chronic illness. This show provides much-needed visibility and perspective, and is a great listen. I’m hooked - fantastic stuff.

Really easy to listen to and Jess (the host) will always make sure that technical terms are defined so you aren’t stuck wondering what the hell they mean. Really well put together and relaxing to listen to! It’s interesting to hear about these chronic illnesses from a NZ perspective too. Great work Jess I look forward to hearing your voice in my ear holes in the future 💙

That’s So Chronic is the best new podcast I have seen in years. Jess Brien is a great interviewer and is good at drawing out her guest’s stories. I’ve taken something from each episode, whether I’m affected by the ailment being discussed or not. It has shot to the top of listening list each week.
