  • Great Kiwi stories

I’ve been listening to Dom Harvey on & off since the days of Mike & Baldrick on 2XS FM. I’ve never quite been in the right demographic to be an avid listener - until now. Dom, your podcast is absolutely brilliant, the long-form stories, great interviewing skills and genuine interest in your guests shine through. Keep up the great work 👏

  • Listen every week!

Dom has amazing guests from all walks of life and has a really good knack for asking the questions you really want to know the answers to! He’s matured a lot since his time as a radio shock jock and has empathy, kindness and life experience to ensure he gets the best stories out of his guests. I look forward to each of his podcasts and often find it’s the lesser known guests that end up having the best conversations.

    Love love love!

Q: How did boxing become part of your recovery and purpose?
Boxing gave him a structure, a way to channel anger and trauma, and a platform to mentor and support young people, turning a garage project into a community resource.
Lee Tepuia: 501 Deportee, Australian Prisons & the Phone Call That Kept Him Alive
Q: What does redemption mean to you?
Redemption is hard but possible; it requires confronting trauma, doing the hard inner work, and being able to rebuild trust with family and community.
Samoana Matagi: He Survived 14,400 Volts, Lost Both Hands, Now He Helps Thousands

He explains he was a power line worker when a 14,400-volt line arc-ed, causing severe burns and the eventual amputation of both hands; the moment framed his entire future and set the stage for his resilience journey.
Helene Barron: From Tarawera Ultra to Tongue Cancer - The Year Everything Changed
Q: How did you cope with the diagnosis and treatment emotionally?
