    After initially tripping across Angela’s podcast several years ago, was able to cut back my daily drinking habit to just a couple of drinks on weekends. Have listened to her podcasts and planned my drinks most of the time. Then decided to do her Dry January this year. 59 days later, still not drinking. I hope to join Angela on one of her retreats soon. Her process is simple, and it works.   • Thought no one could help and nothing would ever work

    I had several friends over the years do the whole AA thing and even though I knew deep down I had to figure something out, I could not stand the AA paradigm. I took umbrage at the whole “accept you are powerless over alcohol”, I think the term “alcoholic” is gross and I hated swearing I would never have another drink just to get started.
