As a mom, a manager, and a person who has also struggled with mental health issues, I cannot emphasize enough how good & vital this podcast is! It’s time to stop the stigma.
So many of us suffer in silence when we could be connecting and supporting one another through these challenges. Thank you for creating this and please keep at it!
I work in the mental health space and cannot convey how many people are dealing with similar struggles to what James highlights in this podcast. I applaud him deeply for being brave enough to start this and sharing these deeply moving stories! Thank you thank you.
I love the podcast- the topic, the execution, everything. James- I challenge you to try to limit your “yep”s- try silent validations instead- your constant sounds take away from what your guest is saying. Will be listening to every episode!
With so much talk about inclusion and bringing your whole self to work, James Pratt raises something that’s often ignored - mental health. These humorous and heart breaking stories open our eyes not only to what it feels like, but what it means when your manager asks you to be someone you’re not. A must for those struggling with mental health issues as well as managers and HR.
I was happy to stumble upon this podcast. Mental illness can be a heavy topic, but this podcast is informative, helpful, and the easygoing conversational nature makes it enjoyable to listen to as well. Mental illness is both a timely and important topic, and this is well worth a listen.
