  • 5 stars for Katie, but....

Have always loved this show and Katie is up there with the best presenters. My only issue is the repetition of guests like Brid Smith amongst others who is never off this and other shows. Does Brid want her own show??

  • Interesting and informative

I live in England but have holidayed in Ireland for thirty years . These radio debates of five or so Politicians and journalists cover current topics such as the troubled economy elections etc . They always include politicians from different parties so give a lively variety of views. Recommended and keep me informed of events across the water.

Q: Will that help you in any way or how do you respond?
No, because to be honest, at this minute, it's cheaper to fly to Spain or Portugal for a week than stay in Ireland with no sun or rain.
Restrictions on Short-Term Lets to be Lifted
Q: Do you think it's a wrong decision now to increase that to 20,000?
No, I support Ministers Burke's recommendations on this because I believe it's a way of boosting tourism in towns.

Q: Are you happy that Brazilian beef was imported by someone who's heading up Bord Bia, promoting Irish produce?
What we're seeing is a business man who has contractual obligations that he has to safeguard against if there's an issue with the supply chain.
IFA members occupy Bord Bia office calling for removal of chair
Q: What happens if that backing remains? Where do you go from there?
We are not prepared to stand by a situation where there is double standards and that we are continuously asked to do more.
