I’m a big fan but must call out Pat Leahy for normalising Trump in his. Listening to the IT edited recording of the event I noted how many lies Trump told. Pat didn’t mention any of them. Had Biden uttered one of them it would be highlighted. I felt Martin did well and gently but firmly stood his ground on key issues.

I subscribed to this as an emigrant looking to keep up with the news from home. The unexamined centrist/centre-right perspectives are sometimes exasperating but roughly what you’d expect from the IT. Hi, love the show and thanks for doing it. However, on the live podcast at Christmas, someone on the show equated anti emigration with racism. Now, no doubt some anti immigrant people are racists. And are rightly to be condemned. But to equate a concern about the level of immigration with a racist view is, I think, elitist, sneering and lazy.
