You’re only as good as your worst podcast and the podcast on Tommy Robinson was a disgrace. No discussion of the subject’s alleged Islamophobia. No questions around his alleged drug taking. No pushback on some of his outlandish and inaccurate statistics. No mention of his time in prison. That’s just the basic stuff. It’s not journalism, it’s platforming a dangerous individual. Forget about the Irish times
Would be better served with a trained and experienced radio presenter.
Subjects are more miss than hit.
Well done on today’s episode, like so many other times you’re shining a light on important issues. This is why I am happy to pay my Irish time subscription. Again well done and keep up the good work.!
I live in California and really appreciate getting a world perspective from Ireland and the UK. The news is balanced and offers news and culture from outside the U.S. bubble. Thank you.
From an Irish Times subscriber, what an elitist and biased podcast contributor Hugh Linehan is on the recent Kneecap episode.
Stick to writing, his disdain for people doesn’t come across quite as strong on the newspaper page.

The show stands out for its on-the-ground reporting, thoughtful analysis, and a steady cadence of timely interviews that connect international stories to Irish readers. Its accessible, well-sourced style and emphasis on practical impact make it useful for listeners who want clarity on what's happening in the world and why it matters locally.
