  • Inspired to Live Remarkably!!

What a pick for my first episode ever!! The description says that you’ll want to have your notepad ready and I was like ‘sorry, um, I’m multitasking right now’ . . . but then there ended up being so many juicy nuggets of wisdom that I listened to it again straight away! I’ve jotted down some very helpful tidbits and am feeling inspired to put them into practice. Loved the episode, guests and hosts and everyone’s positive yet very relatable attitudes. • Activism & Burnout

I took Kate and Gwen on a recent 4hr road trip, with back to back podcasts, they and their excellent guests were the best company. I love both Kate and Gwen’s humour, openness

And inquisitiveness. Or should that be ability to wonder at beautiful things and social empathy.

As a trainee Psychotherapist, also full time self Employed I find much of their topics relevant, professionally and personally.

I’ll be actively signposting the activism podcast (Anne Therese) as this is what our community a... more

  • It’s like a hug in a podcast ❤️

Listening to Gwen and Kate is like being part of an amazing girl gang. They are real, funny, intelligent and articulate women and they challenge you to try new things to make you feel better about yourself and life in general but in a casual, lighthearted and often cheeky way. They clearly have a great friendship and I love listening to them chat and I look forward to more episodes which I believe are in the making having seen their recent Instagram posts. Keep up the good work ladies - I love l... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep.70 – Ayurveda: how to bring this ancient wisdom into our modern lives | John Douillard
Q: What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is described as the science of life, emphasizing living in harmony with nature, balancing internal imbalances, and aligning lifestyle with natural cycles to achieve health and longevity.
RUMP Rewind – Ep.50 - Money & the Mind: Understanding unhealthy behaviours | Lindsay Bryan-Podvin
Q: Why is our psychological relationship with money so complicated?
Because money is shaped by early household dynamics, community, policies, and social messages, and our brains adapt to these layers over time, making money behavior highly context-dependent.
RUMP Rewind – Ep.46 – Breathwork Part 1: Functional breathing for wellbeing (and help for snorers) | Lyndsey Marriott
Q: Why is nasal breathing beneficial compared to mouth breathing, especially at night?
Nasal breathing filters, warms, and humidifies air, increases nitric oxide production, reduces airway resistance, and makes it harder to snore; mouth breathing is more likely to be associated with sleep-disordered breathing.
RUMP Rewind – Ep.46 – Breathwork Part 1: Functional breathing for wellbeing (and help for snorers) | Lyndsey Marriott
Q: What kind of breathing exercises do you use to shift from sympathetic to parasympathetic states, and does it matter if you breathe in through the nose or out through the nose or mouth?
The goal is breathing light, slow and through the nose to maximize efficiency; diaphragmatic, nasal breathing slows the body's stress response and can move you toward rest and digest more reliably, though context may require adjustments.
RUMP Rewind – Ep.46 – Breathwork Part 1: Functional breathing for wellbeing (and help for snorers) | Lyndsey Marriott
Q: What actually is Breathwork?
Breathwork is the practice of changing the way you breathe to achieve a specific mental, physical or emotional effect, serving as a gateway to improved well-being.
