  • Why you react exactly like your mother

Epigenetics and IFS parts work in one show episode. Fantastic. Great overview and taster. Achievable techniques for self-exploration with plenty of literature for guidance as well. Thank you.

  • Love the empathy fatigue ep!

Lol this is so good. Sometimes I do feel like my friends can just load their problems onto me but this has given me great language to use when I don't have the time or emotional capacity. Thank you!!!

  • Grief episode did not land

I appreciate the idea of the latest grief episode. However it really lacked substance and washed over a lot of the significant and complex parts of grief. As someone who is 3 months into their grief, I found this ep not very helpful, almost triggering. The upbeat delivery from the hosts almost felt “sugary” for such a deep and complex topic.

Right idea, but not enough research and care to execute what could have been a really helpful episode

ICYMI: The 7 Signs You’re Living With A Narcissist (That Everyone Misses)
Q: How do we know when we're done with a relationship with a narcissist?
When reciprocity fades and you consistently give more than you receive, or when the relationship becomes emotionally unsafe, it's often time to reconsider and potentially end the dynamic, ideally with support and a clear plan.
ICYMI: The 7 Signs You’re Living With A Narcissist (That Everyone Misses)
Q: What would you say are the signs and symptoms that you are in some kind of relationship with a narcissist?
Signs include a power struggle, lack of empathy, manipulation, and a pattern of behavior that undermines your sense of safety; recognizing these patterns over time and assessing the overall dynamic, not isolated incidents, helps determine whether the relationship is harmful.
ICYMI: The 7 Signs You’re Living With A Narcissist (That Everyone Misses)
Q: Okay, so can narcissists actually change?
The host and guest acknowledge that change is possible for some, but not guaranteed; success hinges on the narcissist engaging in self-reflection, therapy, and a willingness to confront deep-seated shame, with progress often focusing on reducing harm and addressing underlying pain rather than erasing the traits entirely.
A World News Survival Guide For Big Feelers
Q: Do you feel like losing faith in the world could be a form of grief and collective grief because we're all feeling it at some level?
Yes, collective grief can be real; people often look for actionable ways to contribute positively to the causes they care about, especially after shared traumatic events.
A World News Survival Guide For Big Feelers
Q: So my question is, how do we get out of despair without being in denial about what's going on?
It's important to give space emotionally for both the bad and the good, acknowledging the presence of both hardship and hope in the world.
