  • Informative but hard to listen to

Long time listener of this podcast that quite often gives wonderful insights to the battery commodities. However, this podcast can be difficult to listen to as one of the hosts statuses and changes direction of the questions halfway through the sentence.

Lots of arms lots of um’s and err’s and rambling at times. if you can endure this, you can find gems of info.

  • Lithium rocks!

Howard and Rodney do an excellent job navigating the technical and financial aspects of Lithium investing. A great, intimate, and transparent conversation between the hosts enhanced by the Lithium industry guests. However, if you want the "musical" version, which is a must, find them on other podcast provider platforms.

Lithium Inventories Tighten, Equities Lag
Q: What are you seeing on the deleveraging side and the end game for leverage in this space?
The yield curve has steepened and retail deleveraging in Asia is a key source of volatility, but the broader trend is that government policy and geopolitics are shaping investment flows even as some leverage works its way through the system.
First Phosphate Keynote Presentation at Fastmarkets 2026
Q: So first question is, Agnico Eagle Mines recently bought one of the three igneous phosphate projects in North America. What does this represent, having a gold miner enter the phosphate space?
The guest explains that Agnico Eagle's move signals a broad interest from major miners into critical minerals; they see phosphate as a large, scalable resource and view this as a strong endorsement of the future of critical minerals, suggesting that big players with deep pockets are diversifying into high-purity phosphate to support the evolving LFP battery supply chain.
Lithium Prices Stabilize: Dip-Buying Ahead?
Q: John, can you walk us through the financing and cash runway for First Phosphate after the recent closing?
John explains that the company closed a financing that totaled about $17.7 million at $2 per share, adding to about $30 million cash on hand and $16.7 million in non-repayable government support, bringing total accessible capital to around $50 million. This runway supports the feasibility study and next milestones through 2026-2029.
NOA Lithium Brines Webinar: Portfolio, Progress, Catalysts (Gabriel Rubacha)
Q: Where would your lithium go? Is there a liquid market you can sell into or would you need end users lined up?
The company does not require secure offtake immediately; the plan is to pursue strategic partnerships post-PFS to fund and participate in the project, with potential off-take arrangements explored after the PFS.
NOA Lithium Brines Webinar: Portfolio, Progress, Catalysts (Gabriel Rubacha)
Q: The assets, do you own them 100%? Are there royalties, farmers' surface rights, anything that you want to add?
NOA owns 100% of the Rio Grande properties with no royalties, debt, or off-take attached to those assets, and the ownership split is concentrated among founders and Clean Elements with strong insider stake.
