  • Downhill Fast

Unfortunately the quality of content has really deteriorated this year. Mostly infomercials and long winded ‘motivational speeches’ on why to keep investing. Agree with the sentiment but the length of these sermons just drags. These guys used to have some very interesting and informative guests but I suppose the commercial imperative has just taken its toll. No longer recommend this podcast. Look at alternatives.

  • Best investing podcast out there

This is the most accessible, entertaining, and joyful investing content you’ll ever find. Bryce and Ren clearly have a great time while sharing market updates and all sorts of info to break down barriers to investing. I especially love “Pimp My Portfolio”! This show keeps me thoroughly entertained and informed on my drive to work

  • Ads dominated

Ads and what appears to be paid content on this pod are absolutely excruciating. The filtered non promotional content (that does not include 10 minutes burrito segment) is ok but in the shadow of what appears to be paid content.

  • Financial education for everyone!

This is a terrific podcast and has no doubt helped put thousands of investors and every day people on track.

I do worry about paid partnerships though and how these seem like they are starting to be spruiked. Is this really still impartial?

Also, the angle always seems to be towards people in their 20s-30s but what about in their 50s? Or even closer to retirement? That may not be your target market but would make the poddy more inviting to others.

It won't make me stop listening of course ... more

Hold the line Bryce. Equity Mates is a great podcast. It’s useful to hear your analysis. Agree: don’t waste our time with the equivalent of Microsoft updates.
