  • Unprofessional

Luke is so arrogant and unprofessional. What’s with the swearing? Where does he think he is? Otherwise, I like the show, but Luke needs to lift his game. He might be good at his job, but I would find it difficult to trust someone with his

arrogance. He might come a cropper one day.

  • Amazon

Very disappointing that this podcast influencer promotes Amazon as his number one business he uses. Amazon doesn’t pay their workers properly , is killing the environment, killing small businesses but who cares he states it’s a great business! No ethics on this program it’s just making money and does not care about businesses and services that exploit others or is killing the environment.

Another person of privilege making money .

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Wesfarmers, BHP highs and what investors should do next
Q: What are your thoughts on the CGT concessions and how they affect small business owners?
The hosts discuss four main concessions (active asset rule, retirement exemption, 15-year rule, and $500,000 contribution rule) and explain that access depends on meeting turnover or net asset thresholds, with nuance about how changes can expand access and potentially alter future planning.
ETF tax traps, CGT and cost base adjustments with Navarre Trousselot
Q: What is the risk with not maintaining historical tax data in Navexa?
If you stop using Navexa, you lose access to the historical parcel data and settings, which makes future tax reporting inaccurate or impossible to reconstruct, especially when cost base adjustments cascade across many years.
ETF tax traps, CGT and cost base adjustments with Navarre Trousselot
Q: Why would I use Navexa if pre-fill exists with brokerages?
Navexa provides parcel-level cost base tracking and flexibility for choosing which lots to sell, which pre-fill cannot capture, especially when it comes to ETF distributions and cost-based adjustments that affect gains over multiple years.
Seneca’s small-cap playbook: catalysts, conviction and when to sell
Q: What goes into a good investment thesis for your clean write-ups?
A good thesis starts with a clear company description, then assesses valuation, the role of catalysts, and the risks; the team articulates what would confirm the thesis and what could cause an exit, ensuring readers can judge the idea with enough context.
Rewind: David Gardner, 6 traits to beat the market, rule breakers & legacy
Q: How did you identify Tesla as a top dog and first mover in an emerging industry?
Gardner describes his process of looking for important emerging industries, collecting conviction through direct exposure such as Elon Musk's visit to Fool HQ, and recognizing Tesla as a founder-led, paradigm-shifting company that fit several of the six traits, even when the market doubted it.
