  • Unprofessional

Luke is so arrogant and unprofessional. What’s with the swearing? Where does he think he is? Otherwise, I like the show, but Luke needs to lift his game. He might be good at his job, but I would find it difficult to trust someone with his

arrogance. He might come a cropper one day.

  • Amazon

Very disappointing that this podcast influencer promotes Amazon as his number one business he uses. Amazon doesn’t pay their workers properly , is killing the environment, killing small businesses but who cares he states it’s a great business! No ethics on this program it’s just making money and does not care about businesses and services that exploit others or is killing the environment.

Another person of privilege making money .

Owen bought a Tesla, and said it out loud. Are you tone deaf? Do not support the oligarch fascist, who represents a huge risk to the world economy and all our investments. It will not just ‘be ok’. You can’t afford to blithely ignore the biggest headwinds.

Q: Where would you invest if you had 50 million dollars and could create your own ETF, what would the strategy look like?
Drew envisions a balanced approach that mixes growth-oriented picks with signals like smart backing, while avoiding overreliance on screens alone; Mitch leans toward a strategy that emphasizes quality growth and founder strength, with attention to valuations and the role of paying attention to what others say is expensive or cheap.
Red flags investors should check before choosing a private credit manager
Q: How important is the track record across market cycles for a private credit manager?
Very important. Managers should demonstrate consistency across rising and falling markets, including how they handled past downturns, the resilience of their assets, and how they recovered from problems. A longer, proven operating history with real examples and transparent disclosures is preferable to new funds with short or untested track records.
Red flags investors should check before choosing a private credit manager
Q: What should investors look for in reporting and disclosures for a real estate private credit fund?
Investors should see regular, transparent reporting—monthly portfolio updates, clear definitions of defaults, loan-level detail, independent valuations, and explanations of how decisions are made. If reporting is vague or glosses over problems, that's a red flag; if it includes timely communications about issues and steps to address them, that's a green flag.
Red flags investors should check before choosing a private credit manager
Q: Can you explain what independence in the due diligence process should look like in a real estate private credit manager?
Independence means a credit committee with multiple independent members who bring diverse industry expertise, with disclosed bios, clear roles, and a process where decisions are made collectively rather than by a single person. This structure supports governance, reduces conflicts, and helps ensure that loan approvals are based on robust analysis and not on a single individual's view.
How booking.com built a travel empire (and why Google can’t kill it yet)
Q: What macro and competitive risks does Booking Holdings face today, and how is the management team addressing them?
The guest discusses Google's funnel role, AI disruption concerns, and the importance of direct traffic, loyalty, and a diverse ecosystem to defend margins; he notes the long-tenured CEO and capital-light structure as key risk mitigants while acknowledging travel's cyclicality and potential disruptions.
