  • It’s just OK

TLDR: Another Murdoch Empire stooge editorialising on right wing politics… I think I’m going to call time on the Money Puzzle. It’s much less entertaining since he split with Alan Kohler and has turned into a bit of a James Kirby waffle-fest. He brings on guests but often interrupts them to answers his own questions, goes off on tangents and waffling editorials and takes guesses at answering questions without knowing the answers. It’s still OK, just not great. If you’re pretty right wing and onl... more

  • What happened

I’ve listened to the money puzzle for years and its a shame the quality of content and guests is worsening over the years. You’ve lost a listener. It’s quite obvious the right wing bias of the Australian is getting to Kirby and co. Obvious sour grapes for this organisation that does not reflect the Aussie voter.

  • Millennials need space

So true about millennials moving to get access to houses or homes with space. Raising kids in a unit designed for investors is hard work. Loved this episode, an actuate picture of what’s happening.

  • Shameless promotion of property speculation!

No, private property investors are not essential! Whoever thought speculation on a basic need such as housing was ok is beyond the pale. Housing should be provided by governments and not for private mum-and-dad investors who expect to profit off the backs of the less fortunate. Shame on you for promoting property investment! Stick to shares and stocks which doesn’t directly hurt people by driving up property prices and making housing unaffordable!

YIMBY! Building in the backyard: the intergenerational breakthrough
Q: Is the self-managed superfund still suitable for residential property investments and do I have to deal with non-banks to get a loan?
Nathan suggests that it's not very suitable for residential property investments because major banks typically do not lend to self-managed super funds and it's difficult for individuals to handle property maintenance within those funds.
The Olympic-sized property opportunity
Q: How can investors ensure they make sound property decisions, especially with the upcoming Olympics?
Investors should look for quality properties and think long-term, treating them as assets they can hold for 10-20 years.
