  • Would be better if the host kept the intro shorter or time stamped the intro.

Hi, I’m so here for this podcast and I love the educational content. However, my gripe is the hosts spend way too much time on the Intro, for eg. on a recent ep, I spent 24 min listening to chit chat. If that’s the case, can the hosts please, time stamp or reference the topic of conversation from the Intro in the Title. That will help guide our listening experience. Thanks!

  • I finally could afford the dentist ✅

Hear me out, this might sound strange… but for at least 6+ years I’ve convinced myself that I can’t afford the dentist (which is beyond terrible I know). But as someone who struggles to save, I’ve only ever heard stories of people visiting the dentist after years and getting bills of $5k+ and for someone who always had less than $1000 in her account, I convinced myself I couldn’t afford it.

At the start of this year I started listening to SOTM, signed up to the Budgeting course and have made s... more

  • Understanding my money mindset was a game changer

I used to think I was just bad with money, couldn’t save - but I credit SOTM for getting me started on really understanding my money behaviour. From there, I slowly built and designed a budgeting and cashflow style that worked for me. I was a struggling international student who was stuck in her new country during COVID, had just broke up with her partner just before lockdown, and hardly had any friends - listening to the girls made me feel less alone. I feel like they would be so proud of me no... more
