  • Dear Magic Mentors ✨

It’s difficult to put into words how grateful I am for the amount of knowledge and confidence gained from listening to you ladies ! I cannot believe how much my money story has changed in the last few years, thanks to this platform. It’s so refreshing hearing conversations about finance without the negativity of comparison. What a powerfully informed community you’ve created, keep it up ❤️

  • Nope

As a single dad I wanted to get some advice from a female perspective about investing and teaching my daughter about money. The continual comments about “men suck” and misandrist view is too much even for this guy. Won’t be teaching my daughter to learn from these things.

  • Not your fault

I recently rated this podcast one star because of its support for Sharsies. It is not the girls’ fault that Sharsies is so complicated to use. I tried no longer listening to She’s On The Money but could barely go a fortnight! I love the girls, I love the podcast and I’m very sorry for the negative review. Keep inspiring!

  • I’ll keep listening

I just listened to “How One Mum turned job loss into

a multi-million dollar comeback” and I found the host and the way she interviews a little irritating. A bit immature. Lots of “like” and “babe”. I appreciated the honesty of the person interviewed about where she got a little leg up from her parents. In saying this, I’ll have a listen to some other episodes as I found this inspiring still and update my review if I warm up to it. Always open to learn new things.

  • The best money podcast

I find anything with the word “finance” dead boring so it’s really saying something that this pod is on my regular listen list. These ladies have a gift of making financial topics fun, engaging and accessible. I have learnt so, so much from SOTM, forever grateful for how you have changed my money story. I never thought I could feel this empowered!

Building The Dream: Jess Shares What She’s Learned (So Far)
Q: What are the main pros and cons of building versus buying, and how did you decide to build?
Jess found that building allows access to grants and customization, which can make it financially and personally advantageous, but it comes with longer timelines and a need for careful budgeting and ongoing decision-making.
21, Investing Aggressively and Watching Everyone Else Spend Their Paycheck
Q: Tell me a bit more about this internship. Do you get paid to do an internship?
It's unpaid, but there is potential for a contract to continue with the firm if performance is strong; there are multiple interns and a chance for ongoing reference for my resume.
Dropped Out of Uni Three Times… and Now Earns $140K Without a Degree
Q: What did you start uni for, and why did you decide to finish or not finish later?
I started studying but found the learning environment boring and struggled with commitment; a leadership mentor helped me realize I could succeed without a traditional degree by leveraging opportunities and practical leadership development.
Dropped Out of Uni Three Times… and Now Earns $140K Without a Degree
Q: Money diarist, if I asked you to give yourself a money grade from A through to F, what would that grade be?
Right now I'd give myself a B minus, because I've learned to manage major expenses like a mortgage and housing costs, though I still see room for growth in budgeting for higher living expenses.
I Earn $280K… But I’m Completely Burnt Out and Trapped
Q: What should I do about my burnout while earning a high salary and carrying multiple financial commitments?
Take leave to rest and reassess, explore downsizing or altering housing/business commitments, consider remote or hybrid work, and if needed, shift or sell nonessential assets to restore balance.
